Vegan Choc Chip Banana Pancakes


Pancakes are the best breakfast ever, aren't they? šŸ˜Š


šŸ½ Serves 3-4

šŸ•˜ 15-20 minutes


Ingredients

  • 3 bananas

  • 2 Ā½ cups rolled oats

  • 2 cups plant-based milk

  • 2 Tbsp ground flax seeds

  • Ā¼ cup hemp hearts @hemp.nz

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup chopped dark chocolate @whittakersnz

  • Big pinch of salt

  • Ā½ tsp of oil to fry

  • Maple syrup to serve @ceresorganics


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, place rolled oats, ripe bananas, ground flax seeds, hemp hearts, cinnamon, plant-based milk, and salt. Blend all until smooth.

  2. Add chopped dark chocolate/ chocolate chips and stir until combined. Let it set for at least 5 min.

  3. Heat a medium frying pan and spread some oil (optional).

  4. Pour one ladle of the pancake mix onto the center and fry for 2-3 min. Flip and fry for another 2-3 min.

  5. Serve with maple syrup, fresh fruit or jam
